Jump Button

There's a lot of grumbling about DKBananza bizarrely using the A button as the jump button.

.. But A Button IS the jump button, isn't it?!

What's the Jump button?

Nintendo Layout : X is top, Y is left, B is down, A is right

Usually it's directionally right of the "action" button.

On fighting games it's usually up on the dpad but that isn't generally liked for other action games. However, on European 8 bit computer games they often had up as jump on platformers.

For something really exotic like Hitbox "joystick" jump is under both thumbs.
