New Chapter for Commodore?

Well, this is news...
The last revival attempt just involved a reskin of Linux in a custom keyboard shell.
Fingers crossed they do things correctly this time around!

Will be interesting to see how it plays out, but TBH I love my Orange Pi 800. Definitely has the nostalgia feel and once my studio is done, it may be all I use here in the bedroom.

I think they're going to have to do more than just emulation to differentiate themselves.

New actual hardware would be exciting.
TheC64 is already a full sized Commodore clone (I own one - it's cool)

Owning the brand is one thing but I really hope there's something of new substance rather than just resting on the past. Reviving the Amiga line would be cool. The problem I've had with emulation on Linux is not having the right keyboard labels when I want to program.

I have an Amiga 500 living under the stairs at my Parents' house but I fear it may be rotting away...

I never had a C64. Great Aunt & Uncle had bought me one for Christmas and it was wrapped under their tree with other gifts and somebody broke in and stole all the gifts and they weren't in a position to be able to afford to replace them all, so I never got one. Have loved playing the games in later years via emulation.
